Artis Q Floor: imaging that guides intervention

How angiography helps the medical team observe vessels, guide catheters and make decisions in the interventional suite.

A room built around imaging

In January 2024, CENICARDIO installed a Siemens Artis Q Floor system. Angiography produces images that help specialists observe vessels while guiding catheters and devices.

Technology does not replace clinical experience and does not decide the intervention. It supports visualization and navigation within a plan defined by specialized professionals.

What it means during a procedure

The Artis Q Floor continues a documented equipment journey that began with GE's Innova 2000 in 2007, followed by the OEC 9900 in 2013 and the Optima IGS330 in 2016.

  • Visualize vessels, anatomy and devices during a procedure.
  • Support cardiac, neurovascular and peripheral vascular care.
  • Guide navigation without turning technology into a promise of results.

The most important question remains clinical

Available technology is only one part of the decision. The team must also review history, symptoms, imaging, benefits, risks and alternatives.
